I have struggled in certain areas of learning all throughout school (or atleast in the times that i was actually enrolled in school...) . my academic counselor suggested i take this assessment test (used for determining learning disabilities). my results revealed that my fluid reasoning is very low, as well as my short-term memory, math calculation skills, and math reasoning. I scored very high in visual-spatial thinking, and average in long-term retrieval, auditory processing, and processing speed.

These children consistently see themselves as poor in mathematics and most hate math. This situation is terribly unfortunate, since their visual-spatial abilities and talent in mathematical analysis would indicate that they are "born mathematicians."
